The Hazel McCallion Line is planned as an 18-kilometre light-rail transit connection running primarily along Hurontario Street. It will link Port Credit GO in Mississauga with Brampton Gateway Terminal at Steeles Avenue, creating a direct north–south transit spine through Mississauga and into Brampton.
With 19 planned stops and a dedicated right-of-way, the line is designed to make travel along the Hurontario corridor more direct and convenient. It will also connect with existing GO, MiWay, Brampton Transit and Züm services, giving residents more options for commuting, errands and regional travel.
Construction continues in 2026, so localized lane restrictions and roadwork may affect travel in the short term. For buyers and homeowners, the project is an important neighbourhood conversation: improved transit access can influence daily routines, connectivity and how communities are experienced.
