Ontario Real Estate Sales Slow

The Ontario real estate landscape continues to showcase just how local our markets truly are. During Late-Q3, we saw 1,100 home sales across Ontario, with each area reflecting its own unique pace and price trends. For example, one county reported 138 home sales at an average price near $516,000, supported by 442 new listings and 979 active listings. Another area remained steady with 118 sales, where the average price softened to about $635,000 and homes typically spent 60 days on the market. Meanwhile, a third county experienced just 31 sales, but with an impressive surge—average prices climbed to approximately $857,000, marking a month-over-month increase of nearly 27% and an 8% gain year-over-year.

Industry leaders have emphasized that these variations highlight the importance of tailored, market-specific guidance—something I always strive to provide for my clients. With each community moving at its own rhythm, navigating these shifts requires real insight and a commitment to integrity and professionalism. As municipal election season keeps housing issues in focus, I remain dedicated to ensuring my clients make informed decisions, bringing my experience and expertise to every step of the process.
