As of October 18, 2026, the Hazel McCallion Line is in an advanced construction phase. Guideway and civil work continue along the corridor, while Metrolinx has reported that approximately 75% of track work is complete. Preliminary light-rail vehicle testing is also underway on part of the line.

The line is not yet open to passengers, and major construction is expected to continue into 2027. Buyers and residents should plan for ongoing lane closures, turn restrictions and roadwork, particularly around Hurontario, as crews complete the remaining infrastructure and testing work.

Once complete, the 18-kilometre, 19-stop Hazel McCallion Line will connect Port Credit GO, Mississauga and Brampton Gateway Terminal. This future connection may influence commuting patterns, neighbourhood access and long-term housing conversations across the corridor.
