Neighbourhood boundaries

Mississauga’s Hurontario Neighbourhood is an officially designated area generally associated with residential communities along and around Hurontario Street through central Mississauga. Because Hurontario is a major north-south corridor, the neighbourhood is often discussed in relation to several nearby planning areas.

Uptown, around Hurontario Street and Eglinton Avenue, is commonly connected with the corridor, while Fairview sits near the City Centre. Farther south, Cooksville continues along Hurontario Street, and Mississauga Valleys lies east of the central Hurontario area. Parts of Creditview and Rathwood also meet or sit close to the neighbourhood.

These nearby communities are useful reference points, but they are not necessarily all included within the official Hurontario Neighbourhood boundary. If you are comparing homes, reviewing school zones, or assessing a property listing, check the City of Mississauga’s official neighbourhood map for the precise limits.
